Halloween is next week and according to a report by The Nielsen Company, we aren’t slowing down when it comes to buying Halloween type stuff (like candy and costumes) despite the higher prices.  Personally, I usually don’t buy Halloween candy.  It’s not that I don’t want to hand any out.  It’s just that when we first moved to Pittsburgh, I was working shift work and we would never be home on Halloween.  Then, when I was, I bought candy but nobody came.  So now, my GF and I just don’t participate. A few posts ago, I wondered if anybody…anybody at all saw the Dark Chocolate Reese’s that were part of the Batman movie promotion.  Nobody responded that they did.  So I contacted Hershey and asked them. (more…)
