They’re Back in June!!!
Some Reese’s news to share. First, the most exciting news (to me). According to reports, starting in June, Hershey’s will permanently add Dark Chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to their Reese’s line. I’m excited that these reports are saying the addition is permanent. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may remember me getting a little upset when I couldn’t find the Dark Chocolate Reese’s that were released with the Batman movie. Hopefully they will really be permanent as they’re quite good. They’ll be available in their regular two-cup packages and as Miniatures.
Also in June, an instant-win contest that crosses over just about every Reese’s product. I like the instant win contests. I hate the ones where you have to buy a candy bar and enter a UPC code or collect stuff or enter a slogan or something. Just let me rip open the wrapper and see if I won. This contest is called The Reese’s Loves You Back promotion. Find the specially marked Reese’s products, like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Big Cup, Reese’s Pieces, Fast Break, ReeseSticks, Nutrageous and Reese’s Whipps. I notice the Reese’s White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are not listed.
The prizes are something we all love. Cash. $2.5 million worth given out in increments of $10, $25, and $100. How cool would that be? Open up a Reese’s and get $100. Sweet. The contest will run until the end of the year. Remember, though…it doesn’t start until June. Usually when I discuss a contest, I direct you to the web page that has the details. But it looks like the web site won’t be up until May. You know I’ll be on the look out for both the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups and the wrappers with the contest, trying to add to my web site.
