Score on Easter M&M’s
A few posts ago, I complained that a local grocery store had half-price Easter candy a few days after Easter but it didn’t include the Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs of which they had plenty. If I stumble upon half-price eggs, I stock up. So I was disappointed they weren’t half off.
I went back on April 28th, and they still had some Easter candy. I’m guessing the Reese’s eggs went on sale at some point, because they were all gone. Nothing really grabbed my interest (they had TONS of Peeps) until I saw 12.6oz bags of Easter M&M’s. Now we’re talking. How much? How about 87 cents a bag! 87 CENTS??!?!?!? How could I resist? They sell regular size candy bars there for 99 cents. And I can get a whole bag of M&M’s for 87 cents? They only had like 5 or 6 bags of the plain M&M’s left…no peanut. I can’t go crazy because I will eat M&M’s like popcorn, so I only got 3 bags. I’m trying to eat better and felt guilty for buying three bags, so I left one on the dining room table and left Laurie a message that she could take them to work with her if she wants. I’ll be better off, but I secretly hope she decides not to.
