Seems like a lot of vegans are looking for the ingredients for Dark Chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Well, follow the link in the previous sentence to see my scan of the wrapper. I think you can make out the ingredients. Hope it’s what you’re looking for…I freakin’ love these things and practically jumped for joy when I found a Buy One Get One free coupon in yesterday’s Sunday paper. I try not to buy a wrapper just because I don’t have it on the web site, but it happens. I know I don’t like Snickers w/Almonds, but I kept buying them anyway for a while because they kept coming out with new wrappers. But no more. One wrapper I know I’ll never add is the new Wispa Gold chocolate bar. Why? Because I don’t think it’s available in the US. And because it costs $1,618. (more…)
The Godiva of the Middle East is what Martin Van Almsick wants Dubai’s Al Nassma, the world’s first brand of chocolate made with camels’ milk, to become. Right now, they’re in talks to expand into Europe, Japan and the United States in the next couple of months, and hope to have an online presence sooner than that. Currently, they’re available in Dubai, in luxury hotels, and private airlines. (more…)

It’s like a dream come true. Scientists from the University of East Anglia are looking for volunteers to eat chocolate every day for a year. I should sign up since I pretty much have chocolate every day anyway so it wouldn’t be that much of a change for me. I fit almost all the criteria…must be under 76 years old (check!), must not have had a period for at least one year (hmmm…never had a period, so check!) or be taking HRT (I don’t know what that is, so, check!). Also, must be a non-smoker (check!) and have been taking cholesterol lowering drugs such as statins for at least a year (dang! Made it all the way to the last one!). (more…)
Finally updated the wrapper page! 37 new wrappers. Would have been 38, but one of the ones I thought was new, I actually already had. Oh well, that’s what happens when you have some 600 wrappers. Wow. 600. That’s a lot. Anyway, head to the main page to take a look.
I hate gossip type stuff. I really don’t care what my favorite celebrity had for dinner last night or where they’re vacationing. But one gossip news did catch my eye. Supermodel Adriana Lima is pregnant and isn’t craving chocolate. I wouldn’t know Supermodel Adriana Lima if I tripped over her, but something tells me that since she’s a Supermodel and, according to the article I read, a “Victoria’s Secret stunner”, I’m guessing I wouldn’t mind tripping over her.
